Jewish festival marks Israel's independence (hamptonroads)

VIRGINIA BEACH New York will celebrate with a parade. Los Angeles will recognize the anniversary with concerts. In Virginia Beach, folks at the Simon Family Jewish Community Center will mark Israel's Independence Day - Yom Ha'atzmaut - with camels, falafel and games as part of its Israel Festival today.
